Who we are
The Martin lab is in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University within the School of Medicine. Our lab focuses on IgE-mediated diseases from allergic eczema to asthma.
Overall, we are interested in learning about why someone becomes allergic. We take that information and develop novel therapeutic targets with the hope that they can eventually help allergy sufferers and asthmatics.
We are a great group of folks that work as a team and support one another!
